The Grand Lake Stream Folk Arts Festival is held on the ballfield in the village center in Grand Lake Stream, Maine.
More than 50 artists, artisans, and craftsmen display – and often demonstrate – their hand-crafted works under the tents. There’s continuous folk, Celtic, and bluegrass music; special displays including fiber arts, canoe-making, historical photos, and educational exhibits; plentiful food and fun! Kids have room to run across the grassy field and leashed dogs are welcomed and have room to roll.
The stream and boat launch are just a short walk away and festival-goers can enjoy a stroll to explore the tree-covered lanes and admire the many historic sporting camps, cottages, and homes scattered throughout the village. The Pine Tree Store, the village’s lone general store, sits just across the street from the festival grounds and welcomes visitors with a unique selection from groceries and sandwiches to fishing flies!
